In a company in the multimedia entertainment sector, two projects were undertaken as part of an overall redesign of the staff incentive scheme:

a) Overhaul of the existing Management by Objectives (MBO) scheme that had lost its meritocratic and rewarding logic. A new incentive scheme linked to individual objectives and company productivity/profitability was developed with management training, coaching sessions and supporting information packs and materials.

b) To ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the new MBO scheme, sessions were organized to address key responsibilities of the lower management tier and their direct reports.

In support of the organizational optimization process, a Job Summary was prepared for all staff and a number of sessions put in place to improve internal communication processes.
